"A reformed Queen Chrysalis, now called Chrystala, relaxes in the meadow of her new home...while snuggling her son, the young Prince Tyke, by her side. She loves her little colt very much, and hopes that one day he will grow up to be a fine ruler of the Changeling Empire.
As for the teenage prince, while he loves his mother very much...he cannot help but feel a bit embarrassed from her constant attention on him, which makes his friends see him as a "Mama's Colt" even though he is not. At least not entirely. But even now as she licks his mane to clean him, Tyke cannot help but remain still, even though part of him wishes his mother, the Queen, would treat him more like an adult than the little colt he once was.
But regardless, despite the embarrassing moment, the love both the Queen and Prince feel is as strong as Friendship and Harmony itself."
